Maria joined the Mudumbai Lab as a  Research Assistant since 2022. With a UC Berkeley psychology degree and Master’s, she’s now pursuing a Clinical Psychology PhD. Specializing in clinical psychology, psychophysiology, and pain management, Maria focuses her research on improving trauma-impacted adults’ well-being, particularly within the veteran community.

Beyond her work in the lab, you will catch Maria going on shopping sprees, volunteering, taking trips to Egypt, playing with her dog, watching tv shows, doing pilates, eating a nice meal, and hanging out with friends!
